Remember the animal I branded him mad Bastar*? Well, I received a call from him again! last evening at work. I took the phone over from my colleague Adr, who answered the call and I was all geared up this time to hurl explosives at him! Fuc* Who wants to speak to him again, after that meng jijik kan episode, that mad bastar*. Well, this guy is Mr Nick, I gave him his name back, because finally, he is behaving like a human!
He called up to apologise. Also, at the same time, preach to me about working in the frontline and the hardships of being in the service industry! WTF! If you wanna apologise, just say sorry and drop the line. Don't preach! You don't even need to call up again and bring up that incident that pissed me off and say sorry cos I never want to speak to you again. I don't need your sorry cos it won't do to appease me either after you behaved like an animal! May I just kick you in the face and then a few days later, call you up to say "I am sorry, Mr Nick that I kicked you in the face but it was because you provoked me" and then go yakking away about why I kicked you in the face? For Gracious' sake, the damage is already there. Things that are done cannot be undone.
He explained that he has to deal with his customers face to face and etc.. Then, is this a reason for you to vent your anger on me? If you can't handle your work, please quit. Told me I have to be patient and provide my clients the best service and of cos, I did not let him off this time. I shot him back his words. I told him I was already doing him a service by asking his client to come over on a Fri morning when my resident doctor is in, when he said ASAP and yet on the second phone call later, he actually had the cheek to come tell me "don't you know my client needs to work?" And of course I asked him "what was the problem then?" He was the one who mistook my concern and decided to blow up the matter by writing in a letter and make sure I lose my job. Well, then too bad... At the most, I will resign and go for a holiday..
The conversation last evening was soft and calm and this time, I knew Mr Nick was finally listening patiently, when I was talking and he on his own part decided to "erase" this incident by bading a friendly goodbye, with doses of thanks and sorry... Well, I long crossed over this block after doing much thoughts and I am all fine now until he called last night and that incident is embedded in my mind again. Let's just hope that from now on, I meet people with just abit more of golden smiles on them with vitamin P's&Q's and this will be sometime later in the future before I bark at a person if ever I meet a rude one!
I do not know what brought about the 360 change like this suddenly... But, it was justice done to me! We "shook" hands and ended everything via the thin line. If ever this person crosses my path again, I will be glad to give him a helping hand and that is, firstly he listens patiently and understands the situation when I inform him instead of behaving like an animal! Man's Ego is the root to all troubles!
