BIRTHDAY THANKS!~

Ummm.. Where should i start from? I took leave today only mainly because i didn't want to work. Not that birthday is a big deal.. Mine taking leave, is not because I am having any big birthday plans or celebration in mind but I thought I deserve to give myself a break, at least for today.

I am actually in no mood for celebration.... ~~~~ Just want to laze around and just be, in any way that I feel at ease for doing.

However, I was given a real surprise last night when I least expected it. Kaiting aka shancai, told me 10days prior to my birthday that we were invited by Dr Yeo to his house for a BBQ and the date actually fell on the eve. I THOUGHT "um... alright..." I wasn't keen to go cos all along I have the habit of keeping the eve and the birthday itself all to myself. So two days before birthday eve, while chatting, I randomly told Adrianne actually I didn't feel like going to Dr Yeo's house, off she went to tell kaiting and I got chided by her." now then you say you don't want to go, people already prepared all the food for the amount of people going and then now you say you don't want to go" Alarmed and in a sudden concious state, I thought '' ya.. that is rude to voice out only now and better not let the food go to waste since my share has already been counted in" I said ''ok lah,ok lah,I go.'' And kaiting said ''that's more like it, how can last minute then say don't want to go,blah blah blah $#%#%^^*&^$#. and she was laughing when I said ok, ok I will go.... I know the reason now. She was hatching a surprise togther with Adr.

How can I not detect something was wrong when she flatly rejected giving me a free ride this time? Even Simon aka rival refused to let me go with them saying they need to pick up some lights by Balastier road.. Never been more sotong than this.. So, in the end, I met Adr in Kino as she wanted to buy a book and we met auntie together to Dr Yeo's place. We chatted and ate at Dr Yeo's before moving on to Bossi's next as they wanted to play mahjong. The minute we reached, all us girls went to wash our feet and shortly after I sat down, I saw.... rival holding something with tiny flames walking towards me, I kept staring, thoughts racing through my mind, peicing up one by one until he exclaimed " surely you don't want me to carry your cake all the way to you right ?" Then did I quickly react and stood up. Now, this is why they did not want to give me a ride cos they had to rush to pick up the cake, which kaiting had already placed an order for. I was not supposed to know. hiak hiak..

I got a nice durian bird day cake, had bird day song sang and a most unforgettable, funny bird day present from kaiting and Adr........ A cute box exterior which I initially thought was something cute say a watch or bracelets or in any form of accessories, it revealed utterly sexy undies inside that made me blushed!!!! Well... Ok...ok, this is normal, but let's say this is not for me just yet alright..? Talk about undies, I go for comfort and security okay...? Haha...! They want me to start getting used wearing them so that when I wear dresses, people do not see what we call the unsightly VPL. Ok, I know too that it ain't cool to see the outline of your undies when you wear a nice dress outside.. But, surely there are other alternatives besides this, right??.. For eg, not wearing?... Haha......!!!!!!!! Just a joke. I can't do this either. The part where I received my pressie was being taped down from the beginning, it was so amusing just looking at myself, I think ultimately the video becomes priceless..

Thanks for being with me on my birthday eve. It was least expected since I wasn't going to work today. I didn't look foward to celebration. But still, I am thankful for the cake shancai went to order for me after her work and Adr who went to get me those undies without forgetting Orange is my favourite color! HUGS* It's really the sweet, sweet thought they have that counts! I am someone who is rather old antique in this century in the sense a card means alot more to me. Just looking at the sender's handwriting, it says alot whether he/she was in a rush while writing and etc... I like receiving parcels from Mr postman who comes knock knock at my door in the morning and also letters by post too... In short, I like encouragement, wishes all in the form of writing.. A card with all the wishes is more than enough for me.

Blogging is one of the thing I planned to do today as my internet is down and has been down for two weeks, I am in Cineplex doing abit of surfing and blogging now before leaving town earlier to meet parents for dinner later. Hasn't saw anything nice that I can buy myself. not in the best moods for shopping.

I received a warm bird day greeting in the form of writing from my dearest brother and has one more wallet added to my collection now. Love it! Thank You Brother!

1oth june (sunday)

Sharon aka xbb and auntie cat celebrated my bird day this morning. They were a day late as Sharon overheard me last Sunday that I asked Bossi for leave yesterday and thus they could not drop by a surprise which they had earlier planned to.

I can't believe I am that blank. I was sitting just right at the counter when xbb came in from buying breakfast and she was actually holding my bird day cake! She was so nervous when she saw me at the counter and had hoped I did not see the cake she was holding. Being at the same small area, I think I must be a real blanker I did not even detect she was not with me nor alert to what she was doing. I was so so embarassed when she came in from the Ma door, sometime later, walking in with a cake in her hands, I walked to the pantry back facing her. She asked "why? What happen to you?" Nothing my pal... Just very touched! I mean my bird day is over, you all didn't have to celebrate for me. You have shown me late or not, is no excuse. As long as you have the heart to do it, it is really the thought that counts alot, the rest is...... Sharon told me both auntie Cat and her wanted to shock me by pretending they did not remember it was my bird day, as in giving me a real surprise. haha...! If every year give me surprise, I will expect it cos i hav xin li zhun bei.

I received my very first Bento box from them. I like it alot.. It was auntie Cat's idea because she knew I am into Bento-ing since a few months ago and often we surfed the net looking at other people's Bento blogs together and she said she could feel I am always envious of other people who has really nice Bento boxes to store their lunches and thus she thought of giving me my first Bento box to quickstart my new hobby instead of admiring other people. I just needed a really nice Bento box to start Bento-ing!~ Yay!
