Umm.. Hehe... I am counting down to coming Sunday!
This Sunday is CNY eve!
All shops, coffee shops, supermarkets, shopping malls and more will be closed and the entire town will be kinda deserted cos everyone will be cosying up at home! well, not everyone but i guess most people. = )
I am so looking forward to my home's reunion dinner, 团圆饭 on Sunday!
It's great that i don't work too! I can help mum to clean up, touch up on any household chores and then help her to start prepare dinner at 4pm! GREAT! = )

Dad always like to visit Chinatown on CNY eve afternoons when the roads are quiet and shops about to close or some not even open!
I remember few years ago, bro accompanied dad to Chinatown and before they headed back home for dinner, bro grabbed two Chicago cheese cakes for me from Coffee Bean, when I text him at work that i felt like eating cakes! It was such a sweet lil surprise when i opened the fridge and saw cakes when i got home!
Yesh! my memory is absolutely fantastic good at remembering incidents, experiences that touches my heart and makes me happy! that's why now, while talking about being able to help mum prepare dinner together this year, i linked to dad's yearly habit to visit Chinatown on CNY eve and then the cheesecakes bro bought me! = )

Due to work, i don't get to sit down at the dining table and have dinner together with my family every night. CNY eve is VERY IMPORTANT to me. i make sure i get home by 6pm so that i can shower, help around and be ready for mum to shout dinner every year! i like this strong feeling of family togetherness. everyone gathers around a hot steamboat! i love steamboat!
Ma's steamboat is the best! Her big pot of shark fins is a must have on the dining table every year! These two is family's favourite, so it's always our MAIN for reunion dinner and I am always looking forward to having them! and still not inclusive of curry, vegetables, fried food, and her other home made recipes! after dinner is a "tong sui" ma makes! 喝了，甜在嘴里， 记在心里。一级棒， 我告诉你们！ eat your heart out, pals! 我妈的菜肴超炫！
