here's a post all on cakes! i have changed so much over the 6months. foods which i used to not appreciate becomes my favourite now! like porridge and cakes.. i enjoy them so much now like it's a WHOLE NEW WORLD! i never used to have a sweet tooth except for certain days in a month. cakes, icecreams were never foremost on my mind whenever i needed to satisfy a craving.. but these days, i can have them anyday and i crave for them! they are HAPPY food!
my best friend momo, however is not surprised at all, at this change which is not even gradual.. she said as people grow older, there will be some hormonal changes and that includes a change in liking for certain foods. heh! Now, i have a headache! as more and more foods i like come adding on to my *A list, i am also carrying on more and more pounds on my body!! if only my passion for food equals to my passion for running and workout as well, i will become the envy of many!
now, here's sharing some of the cakes' pics i took....
i ordered this. the chocolate is out of the world! this CHOCOLAT CLASSIQUE slice is a piece of chocolate heaven! it is bitter with just the right sweetness!
GATEAUX CHOCOLAT. the name says all. gateaux means a cake which usually has cream or fruit in it. in this case, it's cream. just placed side by side with the cake. the cream is rich but light without feeling naseous after eating. i am not a cream lover, so this is good enough. the staff will warm it up for you to eat the cake with.
this is the cake place call the CANELE CAFE at Paragon basement which features the 2 cakes above. the cafe not only sells cakes, they have chocos in assortmentss!!! it is quite a dark, small place with a few tables for dine-in and their packing is so loud in pink, orange and green! all the bright colors i like!
this is one of the sweet pastry i love. my pa's weekly sweet snack, my bro enjoys it and guardian Angel love eating it too.. cream puffs from Beard Papa! the cream has a faint vanilla, milky taste and it's so fluffy. so light on the tastebuds and in the tummy, you won't feel you need a run to burn it off after having it. : )

these are different kind of choco cakes bought from pine garden by kaiting. it was so sweet of her to bring me these cakes even after she was off from work to try, when I told her just on that same day morning I intend to drop by and order cake for mama on Mother's day.

this is a real cute tofu cheesecake trapped under a bird cage from sun and moon dining. the cage makes the cake even more precious eating. tiny piece at 5bucks! nonetheless, it's all worth! I was brought by my friend adr who's also an ardent cake lover to try it for the first time.
this is another cake we ordered when we were at sun and moon dining. green tea tiramisu. yums...anything green tea makes me go gaga. I love green tea esp as desserts, cakes, icecream..wooo!!
this is a double choco cake(chocolate and white chocolate) i ordered from my workplace auntie who loves baking. I am so mad about cakes I thought it would be nice to have a whole cake in my fridge so that I can cut and eat whenever I want it. once slice is not enough!
