Gc wants to be a couch potato!!!

Yay!!! I found a new love! and that is to be a couch potato, going for drama marathons one after another with favourite snacks by my side at the same time, while watching ... korean shows, jap-dramas, taiwan idol plays and esp those taiwan talkshows and show games! Innovative, amusing, straight to the point without being offensive and alot of funn! analogies that can sprout out throughout the show. I like Jacky Wu's SHI ZHI LU KOU where you take the last word of a food to fix up with a new food and go searching to eat the food that you piece up.

Well........ I am actually very chee-na one... Haha...! Not in denial, I prefer conversing in mandarin cos I feel there's an unexplainable feeling of QING QIE GAN whenever I do so. Thus, I do often speak in mandarin first unless the other party does not reciprocate. Hey! No protesting, my friends! Practice makes Perfect! I know a handful has commented my proununciation is inaccurate sometimes and often because of this, I become the biggest joke of all!! Esp, the time when ah fat, my male colleague who is so powerful in chinese, I deem him fit to be a chinese teacher always, was then so alert to the way I speak, he is like a wrong chinese speaking device that goes 'Tdah' wrong! wrong! wrong! and I get corrected by him on the spot....For example, PO BU ji DAI and not PO BU qi DAI... Saw the difference? HAHAHAHA....! To think that I actually got an A for my O levels! Hey, I am still an A-holder after all k... Give me face at least... Bleagh... These days, I occasionally get laughed at by my cake khaki whom I call her Beb. Everyone knows she is a potato! And I actually get corrected by a Potato at times???? Got fairness anot?? She is ang moh speaking lo.... And she is good in using all four-letter words k(idioms) Faintz.. I think I am good in fanciful writings... I convey my message across better through wording rather than talking. If I were to speak, I speak normally, not very fanciful unlike my writings... My compositions both in English and Chinese SCORES during school days. For your info, I was the best if not the second best writer in class... Hehe... *smug* I can read, write and speak in both languages. But, maybe speaking I am not so good as my pronunciation has weird accent when I speak mandarin, which my friends highlighted, esp when I speak fast, it is very obvious! I like reading chinese novels too, even those where the writings starts from right to left down vertically. Ever thought how queer is that? English writing starts from left to right horizontally whilst chinese way of writing, starts from right to left down vertically. Interesting! I feel that I can relate and feel more when I read chinese articles. I don't mind reading the olden chinese characters either. I think it is beautiful how all those tiny strokes can join together and mean something... = ) I love reading. I can read anything but not something that requires me to use too much of my brains. This is a NO! English or Chinese reading material, I welcome them! Did I say that I love learning languages too? I think I have a flair for languages, I pick them up fast! But, HAHAHA.... shancai, my play mate, says she thinks I need to brush up both English and Chinese first before I pick up a new one. Am I that bad anot? Boo hOO! I HOPE NOT! I REALLY WANT TO START ON A NEW LANGUAGE SOON... CAN HARDLY WAIT TO LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE!

Okay, back to the point why I LIKE TURNING INTO A COUCH POTATO. These days, after I am done with my housework, like laundry, ironing and grocery shopping, I like to stay home, make myself comfortable and start chasing after my dramas. K-dramas, Jap shows and Taiwan idol plays on websites, video cds and teebie etc.... Then I start LAUGHING OUT LOUD n WEEPING SILENTLY next.. Haha... Boo hooo..... It is enjoyable! I can sit and watch non stop, so bad to the extent,I feel a soreness when I move my eyeballs after my eyes is off the screen and I realised my eyes gets so fixed up to looking straight, it tends to get a little painful and stiff when I roll my eyes. Scary!!!!!!!!!! Bad habit!!!!!!!! Talking about eyes, I have been trying to look for a good eye pillow as my eyes face the comp for so long at work daily and sometimes even after work. I feel a warm sensation when I close my eyes to sleep at night. But, I can't seem to find any good, benefitting one. I used to have a couple which I bought from the scent shop. It is an eye pillow filled with lavender. Very soft as it is made of silk material, comes with a faint sweet smell and of a good cushion for my eyes... But, scent shop has since closed down. Ummm. Just have to be on a look out more, I guess.

It really feels good to be home in your own comfort zone, watching teebie and munching snacks and not long after, you realise it is already dark outside and you freshen yourself up with a own-made meal, have a warm shower and off to bed you go, in a deep.... deeep... sleep. Paradise it is.... Very ME!
