RATATOUILLE......... what's cooking??

i went to catch this just 5 hours ago with Gena in Cineplex! this is a 2hours show and after watching, upon 5stars, i grade full marks for it! 2thumbs up, i love it and i am gonna buy the vcd once it is out! when i was young, i never liked reading comics, watchin cartoons nor animes. but people change i guess... i appreciate cartoons now and after reading a gist of what this show was all about, that says only briefly about a rat that aspires to be a chef, i knew i just gonna catch it! = ) i love happy endings and cartoons is so pure, happy, touching which never fails to disappoint me despite being predictable!

Oh my! i love this little rat which aspires to be a chef, appreciates food and not resign to the fate of a rat which feeds on garbage! this rat doesn't walk on fours cos it dislikes what he touches on the ground to go into its mouth and it washes its hands before he cooks, very particular about cleanliness!!! CUTE! i like the link it has in the show between a kitchen inside and a restaurant outside. it shows the real setting of how a kitchen gets busy when orders starts coming in and the communication between service staff and the chef when there is special request from the consumer. it is even more real in a cute presentation with food critic, reporters, sous chef, chef de patie, sauce man, deep fryer and etc. i love the cold room that stores all the fresh, raw foods... it reminds me very much of the days when i used to work in F&B... so real... it brings back happy memories! till the very last part, when all the rats work together in the kitchen, it was so touching. i always get touched seeing teamwork and support!

for those who are reading this, i would highly recommend to watch it, no regrets! especially those who loves food and loves cooking, just by watching what the rat is doing is more than enjoyable! it is adorable! it is a rat which has a flair for cooking and just has to throw in a bit of this, that, herbs and etc to create a surprising, nice dish! and it's best dish is none other than ratatouille which satisfy the tastebuds of a very difficult-to-please food critic that brought back fond memories when he was young as a kid and ate his mum's ratatouille. = )

last but not least, remember.... " ANYONE CAN COOK!!!" wink*
