Last week, Adr was telling me about this cool place she found out and we decided to give it a try this week. The day came and we went yesterday for lunch! We were both so looking forward cos we love seafoods and when she talked to me about lobsters, scallops and crab chowder, I was hooked to go!

This place is Indulgz at Tan Quee Lan street, the same stretch where tian tian huo guo is. Adr made a reservation at 1pm and when we reached, I was surprised there were no customers. It's a nicely put up restaurant, pretty small, but gives a X'mas, cosy feel with those wine bottles and dried flowers displayed at the centre of the place. The on-playing music was great! I think at night this place will be busy, cos it has all the ambience for people to go after work, to dine, wine, relax and just be.

Let's look at the food we had!

Crab Chowder soup! When I first heard, I knew this is so gonna be a must-try. But, it fell below my expectations! No doubt, it has a evident sweetness of crab meat taste. (the exact taste when you steam a crab) However, this soup is so diluted. Chowder in my opinion should be thick. This soup is not. There are some bits of carrot and celery and crab meat portion is pathetic! With almost the price or slightly higher that I am paying, I might as well have a hearty bowl of Tokyo Chicken Stew at soup spoon. There's hardly any ingredients for you to chew at all, from this portion of soup.

Truffle and Wild Mushroom soup. Lucky Adr suggested ordering two different types of soups so we could try different stuff. This mushroom soup is alright, I won't say it's fantastic! Smooth though. I don't taste the unique fragrance that mushrooms have.

Next up.. Soft Shell Crabs. Alright, this is fine. Just that I would prefer my sauce apart and not poured onto the crabs. I don't like the bed of vegetables beneath. If not eaten immediately, your Crispy soft shell crabs will turn to be Soggy soft shells crabs.

Main dish : Pink Salmon with White Wine Sauce. I did not taste the wine. No matter how you cook salmon, it always tastes good. I love the skin, crispy and saltish. got "giam pang bi" like I told Adr. Adr found it too salty at first bite. I am okay with this dish. The richness of omega 3 under that layer of skin which Adr skipped!

Lastly, desserts : Banana Choco cake. A tad too sweet. But, for those who needs doses of chocolate, this is quite chocolatey. That velvety scoop of vanilla ice-cream has very nice milky, vanilla taste. I quite like it but I can't say the same for those blueberries. Sour to the max!
Actually, there is another dish that Adr talked about. Lobsters and scallops which we both love! But, dropped the idea when I saw the pic on the menu. It's NOT even lobster, please... It's merely crayfish + 2 piece of scallops and at a price of $29.80. Gag! I saw the crab meat alio olio linguine but I thought it's absurd for the price.
Our bill came up to $70. The service is fine. They serve up the next dish only after you finished. All in all, I have no complaints.
