Number
For someone who guards my privacy fiercly, my number is no exception.
I think it's an invasion of privacy because.. Hp numbers is personal.
It's meant for only Family & Friends.
An example :
During my trip in Taipei, one day while out shopping, I received a call. The person wasn't that clear in telling me who she was looking for. (note: bill ticking away on auto-roaming charges) And alas, she was looking for my friend Ivon. That particular caller wasn't even well-mannered! It was as if I was picking up Ivon's call and she just asked "is Ivon there?" "Excuse me, do you even know your manners?"
For goodness's sake, without my number, do you even think you can get in touch with Ivon and ask her to help you with anything that you are asking in favour for? In anger, I shuffed the phone to Ivon. I was PISSED!
I was EVEN MORE PISSED when I learnt that it was Ivon's sister who gave my number away. what the hell!??
Those who know me, will know that in the event, if someone needs to get hold of a friend's number for any purpose, I will ALWAYS check with the friend beforehand whether it's alright to give out the number and let known the purpose.
I respect my friends and I expect them to respect me in return!
Invasion of privacy is strictly forbidden!
So if You are my friend and has my number, please have the courtesy to check with me when someone wants my number. For Ivon's sister who gave my number away at whim, she could at least dropped me a sms to inform or let Ivon know. At the very least, when some unfamilar numbers flashes at my phone, I roughly know who I am expecting!
Number belongs to Moi, remember that.
