These days, I love buys at shops like Forever 21, Uniqlo, Cotton On. simple wear that are very seasonal and you can dump it without feeling the pinch. basic wear like tank tops, strap tops, socks, boxers from Uniqlo.
I also enjoy digging for fine buys at a steal together with DA MAN at some parts of town. trying on clothes that he picks and stepping out for him to see and then the final... which to grab from the shortlisted? heh!
as most fitting rooms are out of bounds for guys, I always have to zoom in for him among the crowd and love seeing him scrutnise the attire I don, nodding head which means to grab and if frown appears, it's a No.
he is also 三八 enough like my shopping khaki saying " oh, this is so you lor." and go about looking more of my clothes while I change. clothes that he visualise nice on me, he will egg me on to try and gets pisssed if I do not show him after I try and come out in my own clothes.
he also gives me very frank opinions saying my arms are fat! and I need abit of sleeves. not forgetting I am a BIG girl and must avoid BIG prints as well... hee.. Precisely, he is in this field, he is very strict with personal style and clothes should enhance a girl's assets and hide flaws. thus, clothes & fashion means to have your own personal style and knowing what kind of clothes suits your own unique body shape.
sometimes when he ask the retail assistants for bigger sizes, the response can be damn funny!!! a guy assistant at F21 once told him "sorry but this is a ladies top." Mark was peeved and shot back, "I know, I am getting it for my lady." Hahaha....! and another guy at Zara told him "sorry, but I don't think this top has size for you." Gosh... very funny can!!!
everytime Mark shops with me, I feel so 幸福。 cos much as I know what I want, he also knows my style and shopping with him, 一切都已被打点好了。 I just need to try on the clothes and if there's an outfit we both like, GRAB!
He is so good with PR, and him asking the retail assistants for change in size, diff color and other designs is not a worry to me, cos all the retail girls will be so entertained by him outside and laughing red like a blushed tomato, the service rendered becomes personal and very soon they will be chatting like friends.
I enjoy seeing him Conversing with people, he exudes so much Charm and Confidence when dealing with fashion, He breathes fashion... while normal men looks out of place in a lady's shop.
that's why I say 很幸福，买衣服的时候， 一切已经被打点好了。 and it is something Mark enjoys doing... FASHION!
