I was showering when this chinese phrase pops up in my mind.
It says 守得云开，见月明。
I like that..
If I literally have to translate this directly, it means...
"if you could wait for the clouds to disperse, it will reveal the moon's light."

This phrase can be used on all areas, all matters even people..
For example :
A child, even adult who has gone astray, but the ever noble mother is always there supporting, guiding and waiting for the kid to turn for good.. No matter how bad the kid is, the mum is slowly milling through, and one day this gone bad kid 所谓的浪子回头。。Then the mum is said to have "守得云开， 见月明。。"

Another scenerio...
The recent Andy Lau's more than a decade or two romance saga...
His wife has been the woman at the back and silent all these years.. YEARSs!!! Goodness... yes, Andy Lau acknowledge her as his woman. But is that enough?.. For being the supportive quiet woman at the back, I am sure he can do better than this, in appreciation for his woman..
But, alas! His woman is finally out in the open, known to those people who knows Andy that she is his lawful wife... Isn't that good?! and their family life still belongs solely to them. After all these years, she is also said to have "守得云开，见月明。"

Well, for me I don't believe in waiting... or rather, I can't use the word wait.
If we realise, the two scenerios are two really Noble women with love..
One is a mother, with unconditional love for the kid.
The other is a woman with great love for her man...
Different types of Love.. and finally they reaped their fruits of labour..
I believe the Power of Love however...
This is the most powerful force on Earth.

I like to picture myself standing somewhere quiet & dark, looking up in the charcoal sky, light wind blows, clouds move a little to reveal that little gap enough for the moon to cast light on me.

This phrase brings hope.. There is certainly a balance in life between ups and downs.. Any bad patch that you might be currently going through can NEVER be bad Forever.. Because, somehow at certain angle, light will still find its way through and shine upon you.
By then, before the light goes off to shine on others, seize the chance to walk a better way out for yourself to somewhere better, until the light finds it's way to you again.
How deeper south can you go? When you are at the dump pit, the only direction next, is to rise up or never...

Even when we played teeter-totter when we were kids, we also knew in order to rise up, we just needed to push the ground off with our little feet and we will rise up on our end....
Who likes to be on the lower end for a long time?
No one...
The adrenaline shot, when you rise at that instant almost flying makes you a happy kid! It's something that simple, really...
