Well, I finally electrocuted my hair this afternoon!
WooHoo!!!
Before my hair cut today, I supposed this is the longest hair I ever kept in my life.
The length is somewhere over the bra line at the back. If I were to rebond with the same length, it will most probably reach my waist.
Maybe because I look at myself everyday, I never knew my hair was so long, until I looked at the pile of hair that was cut, it was Hell Lots.

You know the feeling when you come to a point that one day you decided, "okay enough!"
You need a hair cut so desperately that you just wanna storm into a salon and do something about it!
Well, I began to have this feeling 2 weeks back on 2 weekends nights! The extremist side of me was acting up, I was going to do something drastic! *smirk

The 2 weekends nights during bedtime, I ran through the few salons on my list to go to.
Should I go back to my usual JERIC Salon?
Or should I go to this salon with good promotions currently running now for the Chinese New Year?
OR should I go to the salon where a handful people raved about a particular stylist who is good?

Then next was, what hairstyle I want?
Definately not long anymore! I wanna CuT! cut Cut CUT!!!!
SHORT HAIR!
1)Above shoulder length with waves at the end with long fringe! Hiak hiak hiak hiak... BOOMZ!
2)Hmmm... Over shoulder length with waves at the end with short fringe?
3)Else... Bob rebonded?
4)Or or.... Over shoulder length, hair and fringe same length rebonded to give me a typa vagrant 沧桑 feel!
Muahahahaha!!!!

and ultimately all I wanted in my mind was,
choice 1) short hair above shoulder with waves! Hehehehe....

With somewhat choices in mind, I was all ready to hit the salon last Monday!
However, I was needed with my Mumma and I didn't manage to do it last week.
Soon, this week has come and I was an early bird this morning! Heee...
I decided not to go to the salon with good proomo.
Moi passed up on the take to go to the stylist a few rave about.

Yours truly went back to my old love.. JERIC Salon at Plaza Singapura!
I called up and found out my usual stylist Katherine was off today!
Usually I would wait till she is available!
But remember? I had wanted to do something drastic to my hair since 2 weeks ago?
I can't wait any longer! So, I decided to go with a new stylist today.
My only requirement was, someone who can cut a nice short hair and the one arranged for me was, Caleb.

Caleb asked "How can I help you today?"
I told him I wanted short hair.
Length wise... Either over shoulder or above shoulder...
Then I told him about the few ideas that ran through my mind as shared with all of you.
When I touched on rebonding ideas, he asked "why do You want to rebond? I don't think You should rebond."
I thought " Okay COOL! I meet a stylist who has his own mind."

You see... Comes to stylist, I do not like one who is submissive, meaning to go with whatever I want and playing safe. If that's the case, I go to a barber, I do not need a stylist cos I already have an idea and just need someone to execute the cut.

There are still a few black sheep in the trade. Afraid of suggesting something they have in mind for fear in the event the turn out as what they suggested to you which you took up, is not what you imagine it to be... For them, it will be disastrous. They rather avoid the trouble.

Hair stylists should suggest ideas they have and understand by listening what their client wants and what are their worries about. By knowing what clients want, stylists will highly be in the right direction when it comes to having ideas, if not the same at least near. Ideas can be brought up and discussed but ultimately leave the decision on the client's lap.

I told him rebond was in the choices because... I don't like feminine perms. Don't ask me what feminine perms is.. Haha! I will only be able to tell you when I see... Long curly perms are not for me. Yet I do not want sleek straight hair now either. =(
I want SHORT hair with waves, natural ones. Neither straight nor curly! Just waves was what I wanted.
He had a hard time trying to make me visualise what perms he had in mind for me while he was quick to realise what type of perms I hated.
So, he took a magazine and went through with me to see if the choice 1 hairstyle I wanted was what he understood and He Got It....
Okay great! We can get down to work after a good discussion.
I knew I was in good hands!
In fact, when my hair was cut to above shoulder length and before perming, I already like what I saw. =)
I also liked that Caleb was patient and meticulous!

and so the entire process of wash, cut, perms and whatsnot took me half the afternoon sitting!
Appointment was at 245pm and I stepped out at 635pm. Wow!
Magazines were boring me, I was catching a wink there and then and stretching my lazy bones.

Sweetheart has been telling me, my hair looks nice blah blah blah. All because it's the length he likes lar... Long hair.
But I keep complaining about me getting fed up with hair.
So, finally he said " your hair is nicer now, but if you wanna, go for a trim. Go ahead to your stylist. Hair can grow."
READ: go for a TRIM...
and I CHOPPED my hair off, to his most undesirable length.
OoOops!!!!
Now I really can't wait to hear his say and am anticipating the expressions he will give, when he sees this on Friday! Cos he is comically Drama.Mama!
Muahahahaha!
He might scream? His eyes may enlarge in shock till it's gonna pop out?
My guess is, he is so gonna jump.
Haha!

So far, feedbacks has been good.
Jess D says it's nice and I look more feminine now.
Mumma says so long as I like it will do. I said I like it no use, but do you think it's nice? She said "美" =)
Mumma's feedback weighs tons. Cos if it is not nice, she usually put it in a nice way "还可以 or 不错啦"

Until the waves goes off, I need to give my new hair some TLC lest it becomes weed in no time..
"Scrunch, scrunch." Caleb says.
