This little thang call Toy that means BIG thing to kids!
First of all, I have never been a barbie doll girl when I was a kiddo.
I liked Polly Pocket though.... sounds damn Niang aka 娘 aka Sissy now!
Pui! PUI! pUi!
Ya lar, when I was just a little girl, only Polly Pocket fascinated me and caught my eyes.
However, I have never own one...
On the other hand, I also didn't join my boy cousins holding fake toy guns and start to rattle off fighting enemies.
In fact, I was busy challenging my cousins to play zero point, star fish and five stones!
It's actually a long rope made from rubber bands. I made my ropes from scratch and I could make one anytime so long as wherever I was, had rubber bands in bundance! =)
I have never held a bear as a present until 2years ago, I got my first bear from Build A Bear workshop and given by sweet heart.
I look too serious and stern as a person which You will never link I could be that someone who do like toys after all.
Not because I was deprived when I was a kiddo.
Perhaps, I am a big kid at heart!?
I believe everyone of us at some point of time, are kiddos when we are around our love ones whom we are comfortable to.
You just need that right friend or buddy to lure this part of You... =)
Very few people knows this side of me.
That I do buy toys and they are really simple toys that comes cheap too.
Like my buddy Momo, I enjoy twisting capsules on Gacha-Gacha machines. A few in my posession are given by sweet heart!
Each capsule cost about $2-$3. I like looking at the poster in front of the machine and see what it offers. Then I will peer through the box and see if it looks like what it is on the poster.
Next, I will change coins, aim the one I like most and hope hard that I get it!
If I don't get what I want, it's fine with me cos usually I aim for what I like the most among all the machines!
This.... Cinnamon Roll mini stamp pad with chops. It comes in a little small box to keep them in place and also stickers for you to paste so you know which chop is which. From Toy R US at Vivo.

These 2.. I twisted them both on the same night after a late night show at Cineleisure. These captured my eyes while sweet heart went to the rest room. When he got back, I showed him what I saw and he twisted them for me!
(To see previous posting, click on these 2 on top to link.)
One in orange capsule is a sugar bunnie heart shape mirror which comes with a tiny comb.
One in red capsule is a hello kitty handphone accessory!
Both at $2 each!
Soon, it became a habit whenever we passed by any Gacha-Gacha machines, both of us will check them out.

I do not patronise Mcdonalds often.
Never been a fan of this childhood fast food restaurant most kids grew up with.
I remember I like eating hash browns only on Sundays when I was a kiddo! Hash browns Sundays!! Haha!
Me like most kids together with my younger brother and cousins went "wow WoW, Mcdonalds!" cos they had something called the HAPPY MEAL!
They were good with kids, they knew and know what a kid wants. Although kids these days are harder to please already! Haha!
I have this young boy years ago... one day I told him "I bring you to Mcdonalds k, we go for HAPPY MEAL."
He said " I don't like Mcdonalds, I want pasta!" -_-!!!
When I first heard his reply, I went "WOW!" in my heart.
HAHAHA! and we went for pasta!

The HAPPY MEAL box during my times was colorful and really attractive, they had puzzles on the box, short stories and etc that you could play and even if you lunch in, it came in the box which I collected...
These days, my HAPPY MEAL comes straight on the tray. No surprise at all. I prefer retrieving my cup corn and etc from the box and place it on the tray myself. HAHA!

Doraemon! I like Doraemon! Cos he could dig anything he wanted from the pocket. Sweet heart got me both the Rat and Valentine's last year close to CNY period. These are not from HAPPY MEAL.

Valentine's on left and Rat on right.

I have an occasional habit of checking out the HAPPY MEAL box when I pass by Mcdonalds and see what toys are ON.... It has been quite awhile since the last time I spotted nice toys but recently I am at it again. Eating HAPPY MEAL.

HAPPY MEAL that came right on the tray. Where is the box for my meal? unless I take away? Or unless I bring a kid along? Maybe the box given now is boring too... Anyway, here's my HAPPY MEAL. 4 pieces chicken nuggets, cup corn and apple juice. Even Ronald Mcdonalds look odd on my packet of apple juice...

Good thing is, I never encounter with a Mcdonalds staff who gives me odd look when I order kids meal. I know of some restaurants who ban adults from ordering kids meal! Some raises eye brows when You order kids meal? Some provides kids meal but adult customers are not allowed to be given a kids menu for order! I don't understand what is the hoo-ha about!

Ever cross restaurateurs' mind that it could be the food from kids menu tastes better than your regular ones. Then isn't it a shame? It could be the customer had it when he was young and now returns to reminisce those times when he was a kid. So why ruin the customer's wish by saying no? Or some people has an appetite this tiny that a kids meal portion is just right and they do not want to have any food waste. If there is a demand for it, why not provide? Who cares if the consumer is adult or a child? Tsk!

They are the reasons why I am chomping down HAPPY MEAL again. It's the SANRIO series of characters stamp.

Cute not? Pretty or what? The Hello Kitty stamp in baby pink and My Melody in hot pink.
Next up, will be Cinnamon roll and Sugar bunny.
